As a Congregation, Help Bible Students to Progress to Baptism

As a Congregation, Help Bible Students to Progress to Baptism

“Each respective member . . . contributes to the growth of the body.”—EPH. 4:16.

SONG 85 Welcome One Another

PREVIEW*

1-2. Who can help a Bible student to progress to baptism?

All members of the congregation can support this new student, exemplified in paragraph 1 the example of Amy who, by interacting with the brethren, helped him be baptized and progress in the congregation.

Ephesians 4:16 compares it to a body in part B says that each member performs his or her role well and this contributes to the body growing as we build on love so that all of us can contribute to the growth of the congregation.

If what proverbs 15 22 says also shows how when there are many counselors around a person it can help this person in the student’s case be baptized.

3. What do you learn from the comments made by Ana, Dorin, and Leilani?

I really like what the special precursor named Ana said says that a student has many needs and is unlikely that a teacher will be able to meet all of them.

As is the case with Dorin who explains that often other publishers say something that goes deep to the student something that I had never thought of, then the one that we accompany someone and have nice words well thought out may reach the heart and that will change the student and advance to baptism.

And from what Leilani says we can learn that when someone accompanies us to give a biblical course they can perceive the love of the brothers of the congregation the affection that we have for each other and this is based on John 13:35 that can be an incentive for the student.

4. What will we discuss in this article?

If in this article we will see 3 things, we will see what we can do when someone invites us to a Bible course also to do when a student attends the hall of the kingdom and also that elders can do to help students get to baptism.

WHEN YOU SIT IN ON A BIBLE STUDY

5. What role do you play when you are invited to sit in on a Bible study?

If our role as companions is to support you, in Ecclesiastes 4:9, 10 it indicates there what better are two than one because in verse 10 it says that if one falls the other can help his companion to get up, then we want to be a support without forgetting that the main responsible for the biblical course is the teacher.

6. When you are going to sit in on a Bible study, how can you apply the principle found at Proverbs 20:18?

We need to ask the teacher to tell us a little about the student the text mentioned that when there is good communication the plans are going well, if we communicate with the teacher and he talks about the student the study will work out.

Illustration

The image that is there in the first box is seen to the companion preparing well has the Bible has the publication and is researching perhaps on the laptop, which excellent advice when we meditate may be that sometimes we do not do this but as basic as this can contribute to us being a good companion as we saw in Ecclesiastes.

Yes and a missionary idea called Joy comments that that also helps him to be interested in the person and to know what to say during class and is that also when they already tell us the student will no longer be only a stranger to us he will also be a person whom we already know in that we want to help him.

7. Why do you as a companion need to prepare for the study?

We can highlight two important things the first that we will be able to contribute something useful to the study and the second that we will set a good example for the student because they immediately perceive that we are also well prepared.

Ezra 7:10 emphasizes the idea of what Ezra was doing to prepare the heart, we will hardly go to that biblical course with a well-prepared heart if we do not even know what it is going to be about that it will be talked about so it is essential to know what it will be about and prepare them well so what we contribute will be very very valuable.

Another point I liked about Ezra 7:10 is that Ezra was going to be talking to people who already knew the law but still prepared to explain the law, this teaches me that even though I know the material well it is important to review the main points because the student is also a person who goes advanced in his lesson and can also be taught many things if we prepare the heart well.

Illustration

In the image for these paragraphs we can see exactly that, there is a brother who is doing what Ezra 7:10 says is preparing in advance, is preparing the heart and is showing real interest and providing something useful surely in the study.

Yes According to the Enlightenment we also see that the brother is very enthusiastic about doing so too because he knows that he is a student of the Lord and I want to do well wants to accompany him and wants to make that occasion an occasion as for jehovah.

8. How could you make sure that your prayer at a Bible study is meaningful?

It is important that we think in advance that we will say in this prayer for example the mystery 2005 march gave some suggestions or ideas for progressive study, said that it should be specific short prayers to ask for the divine blessing for study, to give thanks for the truths learned, to praise the Lord as the source of instruction, and also to bless his efforts as a student.

And we want prayer to be specific because it will touch the student’s heart, sometimes saying the name is going to have a profound effect because it is known to be for him and just as prayer was prepared before the Lord as incense can help the answer to that prayer in which we ask for that person to truly touch his heart.

9. According to James 1:19, what can you do to be a helpful companion at a Bible study?

If we want to be good companions, we should not be distracted because this way we can listen to the teacher and also the student and when necessary we can contribute something that benefits.

And in this paragraph we find the balance because before we talked about preparing the heart then we pray we prepare well but the danger is sometimes we find so many interesting things that we then want to share them also with the student, so as the paragraph warns us we should not even talk too much interrupt the teacher’s explanation or deviate from the subject, we should think of comments examples or questions that help highlight the key point , must be something that doesn’t distract.

And speaking of this point, it may fill in the student’s information, his mind is not of much benefit, but if congratulating him show real interest, this will motivate him to progress and become baptized.

10. How might your experience help a Bible student?

If it could help you strengthen your faith and your relationship in jehovah, it is interesting that the paragraph quotes Psalm 78:4 and 7 where we speak of the actions of the Lord worthy of praise, then when in discussing our experience we focus attention on jehovah and his sovereignty this will certainly give the student much encouragement.

If it is that when we explain to the person how Jehovah helped us about a particular problem or a close family member then the person can see that he is not the only one who is suffering and that just as jehovah has helped us we are getting ahead because he too can count on the security that Jehovah will help him if he follows the standards he is learning.

WHEN THE BIBLE STUDENT ATTENDS MEETINGS

11-12. Why should we warmly welcome a Bible student who attends meetings?

Because we want students to continue to arrive in the hall of the kingdom that continue to attend meetings, so whenever we see a new student we welcome presentmoles to other brothers and this will help them feel at ease following the principle of Romans 15:7 where he says welcome each other.

If they asked us how we would feel if we were invited to a place where we do not know someone because surely we would feel like Dimitri nervous and more if we were shy, then we can take the initiative to go say hello to the student with a smile and a clear affectionate greeting when possible and that will make him feel more comfortable and less nervous.

It is very likely that the student does not remember much of the information of the first meetings that almost all of us have forgotten, but if we remember how we were treated that kind gesture that strong handshake a smile and that is what we want the person to understand we do not want the person to go alone to a meeting we want to keep going and as we will treat them fondly that will be a magnet that goes to keep attracting.

The image shows the effect the student looks happy radiant but also if we look in the image this receives as it implies welcoming, two of the photographs are outside the hall of the kingdom, how beautiful from before among the student can make himself feel loved and welcome so how beautiful is it when the elders can wait a little while before the meeting starts to receive everyone including the students.

13. What effect can your conduct have on a Bible student?

It can have a very positive effect our behavior may be that the student watching us giving speeches in front of the congregation can see if what we teach really put it into practice in the case of those who have children how children behave after the meeting when the cameras are turned on the microphones if they are well-behaved children are little things that will help the student and will be convinced that it is really in truth.

And Vitali’s experience proves it she says she watched as all the brothers lived thought and behaved according to biblical principles, so as she saw everyone’s behavior in general she said this is true religion.

Then we can realize how true the words of Matthew 5:16 are, where he mentions that when you see the good works, they give glory to the father in heaven, so by a good example we can convince our students that Jehovah’s Witnesses are the true religion.

14. How might your example help someone to keep progressing?

If there was a first letter to Corinthians 11:1 Paul said that we imitated him just as he imitated Christ, then if we strive to imitate Christ surely those who attend meetings will see how it benefits them to apply the principles and the Bible and then can motivate them to continue strengthening their relationship with the Lord.

And speaking of progress how to help him or her comment in meetings, even the children in our congregations help with their example the student progress in that regard, who is not moved by a short but very sincere response from a little boy or the older little brothers without speaking can teach by his example when the student sees that meeting after meeting there is the little brother perhaps ill but there is his example still without words can also help him progress.

15. How does Proverbs 27:17 help us to see why we should make friends with a Bible student as he continues attending meetings?

Here we see in proverbs 27:17 where it says that iron is sharpened with iron, iron leaves are not sharpened by hitting each other but by sharpening the very concept it indicates, then it is important that we have dialogues with the student positive discrete animators and also perceive that it is uneasy, commend him because we remember that he will be left alone and we will be the only ones who will encourage him to put biblical principles into practice.

Yes according to Hanae’s experience she says that she enjoyed being with her new friends and is that you have to remember that they are at a time when many people that they considered their friends before are leaving them, then they are leaving an empty place that we can occupy.

16. What else can you do to help a Bible student to feel at home in the congregation?

Hebrews 13:2 encourages us to be hospitable as Brother Denis tells us, he says that when he studied the Bible the brothers invited them to hang out with them, and he also encouraged them that the brethren would tell them how the Lord had helped them, that helped them be convinced to want to serve the Lord, and this shows them because he says that they now serve in Moldova.

HOW CAN ELDERS HELP?

17. How can elders help Bible students?

Yes as indicated in the paragraph are very simple things but that can have a very profound effect on the person to spend a little time learning their name or even accompanying the teacher to give him the study.

And the effect that the latter mentioned may have on students illustrates very well in the comment that a precursor of Nigeria makes, as she mentions that many students are stunned when they learn that the person who accompanied the bible course was an elder of the congregation students contrasts what the old man does with the religious leaders of his previous religious confession , so that can have a very positive impact.

Illustration

If you summarize this lesson that we are learning very well you see that the student at the weekday meeting is making his comment is sure to be called by name and in the end not only thanked him for the comment now are chatting and his face shows that he feels that there is someone who is close to him , you are already surprising the old man has this as a practical love interest that helps to progress.

18. How can elders fulfill the responsibility entrusted to them as recorded at Acts 20:28?

Here then we can see that now the paragraph focuses on the elders cheering and training teachers it is very common to sometimes see brothers or sisters who might be very shy and might feel uncomfortable leading a Bible course in front of an old man, but as elders in the congregation if we perceive that because we have to take the initiative we have to take the first step we have to take the course so we teach with our example.

Training is essential within the congregation from the platform to below, being accompanying students is the basis of teaching in college I will not go Jehovah so it is important to be aware because if they are well trained they felt able to give Bible studies and in turn when you train one is a chain that we all learn from all.

And one thing that also helps a lot is to encourage the brothers to the master publishers this helps them not to give up, a precursor named Jackie also says her words are like a glass of fresh water on a hot day, so the encouragement that we import to the publishers will help them a lot also not to be discouraged.

This paragraph then shows us that the elders must have initiative to see how our group’s publishers are doing to start how their activity is going if we can offer to accompany them or simply talk about how they are doing what suggestions we can give them if they can maybe help them share that with their students as well and so we all benefit.

19. What joy can all of us have?

We can have the joy of collaborating for a student’s spiritual growth may be when we are invited to give some study because having well-chosen words to reach the heart, even if he gathers in the congregation because he also welcomes our example and if we are old to devote time to know them listening to them and encouraging them.

If it is good to understand this because we see that we do not need to have a biblical course, everyone in the congregation without exception can help a person come near the Lord.

HOW CAN YOU HELP BIBLE STUDENTS TO PROGRESS TO BAPTISM . . .

When you are invited to sit in on a Bible study?

If we saw several ways one is to prepare well for it we can ask the teacher what the circumstances of the student who is going to be discussed and what specific goals are to be achieved, another is to support the teacher by paying attention to what he and the student says to say something useful in the study and the last is to share an experience with the students.

We have been seeing in this section the importance of preparation good preparation must prepare the heart since the one who will accompany the biblical course also has to be well prepared, then that will allow him to participate appropriately in this biblical course will be able to bring valuable things and the two that are there have to be well prepared.

We even saw the importance and even of preparing prayers to ponder the words we will say as we pray, Psalm 141:2 was mentioned that we offer our prayers as ready incense, and we can do the same to make our prayers more meaningful.

When they begin attending meetings?

Romans 15:7 says that we are welcomed with pleasure, as seen in the photograph we must present ourselves with affection to introduce them to other brothers and sisters also of the congregation to hear them take an interest in him but without overwhelming them.

Another thing was to make friends, right now with the pandemic it may be difficult to invite them to our house or it is not possible simply, but we can be his friends, as we interest in them a call a little message a cart try to meet them is no longer only that the teacher is a friend of the student he must become friends with all of us in the congregation.

And Matthew 5:16 talks about letting our light shine one of the best ways to do that in meetings is by commenting regularly especially on searching for hidden pearls we can let know how biblical principles help us and that can motivate the student to see the benefits of applying biblical principles.

We also saw that when our conduct reflects that we are governed by biblical principles then the student becomes more convinced that he found the truth and this encourages him to continue to strengthen his friendship.

If you serve as an elder?

One way is to make time for students so if it is up to us to accompany some publisher we must also take an interest in the student in learning the name of this new student he will also help train the other brothers to the publishers who have bible courses congratulating them this will make the students progress quickly.

If another practical way is in the congregation when they attend meetings themselves it makes us all nervous to comment then when we see that a student makes the effort to comment to know him and perhaps call him by name those details that are valued by them and also as we see in the photograph we spend time after the meeting or before to talk and that he feels comfortable.

And also training and encouraging teachers helps students because Jackie mentioned in paragraph 18 mentions that when they encouraged her that made her feel happier giving bible courses and whether the teacher is happy she will pass on the same thing to her student and be able to progress.

In the Enlightenment we could see that the elder gave a comment to the student but we could see that after the meeting or once the meeting was over we could see that it was usual for him always did so then the interest we show in the students can go deep in them.

“I Will Raise Up One Shepherd” – “My Servant David” Will “Become Their Shepherd”

“I Will Raise Up One Shepherd”Pure Worship of Jehovah—Restored At Last!

“My Servant David” Will “Become Their Shepherd”

16. How does Jehovah feel about his sheep?

As an example, when a father of a family for some reason entrusts his children with someone for a short time, because he not only entrusts them but also keeps watch over them, in the same way Jehovah does not forget to be attentive to the needs of his little sheep, so Jehovah is always watching and caring for his people.

16. How were “the shepherds of Israel” in Ezekiel’s day treating the flock?

Unlike what Jehovah would expect, these shepherds were cruel, they were tyrants, they were harsh, they mistreated the flock and obviously that bothered a lot.

Chapter 34 in verses one through six gives a very vivid description of how they were starving them while they ate the best portions and speaking of the health of verse 4 it mentions that they had neither healed the sick nor strengthened the sick. weak and fewer had gone to look for the one who was lost, as the paragraph mentions, they were scoundrels who ruled the people like that.

They had the responsibility to take care of them but they did the opposite, they worried about themselves to feed themselves and they neglected the sheep.

And the end result was logical after all this mistreatment many of these sheep ended up abandoning pure worship.

17. How did Jehovah rescue his sheep?

In the year 607 he used the Babylonians, they invaded the country and took, so to speak, the sheep of these selfish shepherds and 70 years later he returned to rescue them when he took him out of Babylon and took them back to his land.

It all teaches us that Jehovah is not slow for his promise, he loves his sheep very much, he was even willing to twice in ancient history how he is seeing to make the necessary changes of government so that his sheep were, this teaches us that Jehovah is always aware of his faithful servants and he is also aware of those who are mistreating his people gives us the guarantee and absolute certainty that Jehovah can intervene at any time to free his faithful and beloved sheep.

Josue 21:45 | As expressed there, not a single promise has failed or will fail of all the good promises that Jehovah has made and they had been witnesses of that care so they could feel safe just as we now too.

Jehovah always fulfills what he promises and for this he can use any necessary means in the past he used the Babylonians later when the Babylonians were the ones who pressed his little sheep now he freed them from them, so this lets us see that regardless of the tests to the that we face today Jehovah can give us the solution.

And it also guarantees us that Jehovah’s care is eternal, Jehovah took a certain time to free them first from one and then from another, but the paragraph mentions that Jehovah is still on the lookout or he was still on the lookout for his sheep, so he will not delivering one or two or three times Jehovah’s care is eternal.

18, 19. What prophecy did Ezekiel relate in 606 B.C.E.? (See opening picture.)

If this prophecy shows how the messianic king will shepherd Jehovah’s sheep.

Yes, and by using the expression a single shepherd followed by the term servant, it indicated that this king was not going to resume a dynasty of kings of the descendants of David that would have a beginning and an end, it was going to be eternal.

This prophecy was encouraging those sheep because although they will pass through the hands of many nations in the end they will come to someone as already indicated a single person who was going to treat them with the care and affection that they already deserved from Jehovah So this undoubtedly brought great comfort to the people living in Israel at the time that they knew that they were going to one day live under a One government forever that was going to provide them with the care that Jehovah wants.

And it is evident the difference between this new shepherd that Jehovah’s sheep had and the shepherds that they had in their time who did not take care of them who had forgotten them, here it was the opposite, it was a shepherd who was making a pact of peace and Jehovah with them. I assure that they would have showers of blessings, the drawing in the Illustration clearly shows how it would be a shepherd who was there in front of his sheep, taking care of their path, guiding them, being with them and protecting them, that is what Jehovah was about to put into this nation.

ILLUSTRATION

In the image we can see how the shepherd will take care of all the dangers that exist, it is also seen that they will have authentic security, abundance and not only it is seen that there will be peace between humans but it is also promised that there will be peace between the people and animals too.

As I analyze all this, it motivates me to continue to make calls to people who are oppressed to tell them what Jehovah is like, Jehovah is a God who cares deeply about people and how Jehovah has already shown that he has done many things for them to people can have an excellent pastor.

Also in the image we can see how well nourished these sheep are, they were no longer going to be hungry, they were not going to be sick, we do not see any sheep that is sick or lost, this spoke about the abundant spiritual food that this shepherd was going to give at the appropriate time.

20, 21. (a) How is the prophecy about “my servant David” fulfilled?

This began because when Jesus was here on earth he demonstrated an unparalleled love for Jehovah’s sheep, no one had ever laid down his life for these sheep before and Jesus did, then from that very moment it began to be seen that he was going to be a king. wonderful because everything he did he did with the love that characterized Jehovah an unending love a divine love and now that Jesus is in heaven he can extend that to all of us.

So it is fitting that Jesus is given the term an excellent shepherd, an excellent shepherd never neglects his sheep and Jesus has not neglected his sheep either yet since heaven has proven to be an active shepherd who is attentive to the needs of the sheep and each of us can say that we have proven it.

Part of the shepherd’s job is to feed the sheep feed the flock, in the case of Jesus Christ he has taken care that we do not lack spiritual food that is nutritious since he was installed as king he appointed a faithful and prudent slave who will take care to give us what is necessary and thanks to this all his flock has an atmosphere of peace and security in a spiritual paradise.

And it is very moving to see how Jesus Christ in his role as shepherd fulfills not only feeding but also making sure that the food is nutritious for his little sheep and today we can feel that Jehovah’s organization takes care of us and feeds us in this way.

Having so much abundant spiritual food from our Lord Jesus Christ helps us to promote an environment of peace and security in this paradise that we demonstrate with our actions that we are grateful that we not only feed ourselves but that we benefit by putting into practice what we learn.

20, 21. (b) What do Ezekiel’s words about “a covenant of peace” mean for the future?

Yes, when the benefits of this covenant are fully received and the entire planet is a paradise, everything that at this moment causes us anguish sometimes causes us concern, everything will be a thing of the past, it will have been eliminated and Jehovah has proven with his King Jesus that he will and we can enjoy a land turned into a paradise.

Sheep are among the most delicate animals, they are easily scared and vulnerable to many dangers Ezekiel 34:28 says that in the new world Jehovah’s flock will no longer be the prey of the nations the wild animals will not devour them they will live safely without being scared by anyone then in the new world wars crime hunger, any of the problems we face today will be something that no longer happens and that will give us peace as Jehovah’s flock.

We are convinced that what we have already seen on a small scale, we do not doubt that it will be fulfilled on a large scale and still with things that Jehovah will not stop surprising us.

22. How does Jesus feel about the sheep, and how can those serving as undershepherds reflect his concern?

It has become clear that what he feels is a very great love, he was willing to give himself up for the sheep, we are deeply concerned about our food in a spiritual sense and he is making all the arrangements so that in the future there are no diseases or anything like that. make us tremble, so we are very happy to have him as the overseer of our souls.

And a proof of what a good shepherd Jehovah is is the way we feel under his care when we think of Jesus and how he is the pastor, we feel protected cared for, it gives us pleasure and peace of mind to know that he is in charge of the congregation. and what is the king.

ILLUSTRATION

It seems that he is in a vigilant position in the expectation that there is nothing that attacks the sheep, he is fully protecting them, having, so to speak, a broad vision of the land seeing that they are all eating that none of them go, which shows the great love that our Lord Jesus Christ does not continue to have.

How do humans who have the mission of shepherding the sheep imitate Jesus?

If these brothers imitate the pastor Jesus Christ since they take care of us with affection and tenderness and willingly and with determination, then they are an example for the flock.

And the elders should reflect the same concern that Jesus showed in willingly doing everything with effort and being examples to the flock.

1 Peter 5: 3 | The attitude that we should have before the sheep of Jesus, we will never try to lord it over them thinking that they are ours, but on the contrary willingly with the correct reasons and in the best way we will endeavor to copy Jesus Christ.

Ezekiel 34:10 | There the warning is used, Jehovah says I will ask them to account that means that he is aware of the results so we can say that as elders we always have to deliver healthy, well cared for and happy sheep.

And it is beautiful to see how our elders in the congregation do it not simply out of fear of what Jehovah is going to hold them accountable if they do not do it out of love because they are eager to show us the affection they have for us to take care of us by responsibility that they have before Jehovah but mainly for the love of neighbor as well.

And it is a blessing that Jehovah has entrusted his little sheep to be in charge, for example the elderly, although they also have difficulties, they have also lost their loved ones but they set aside a little time to make the visits of encouragement and how much they strengthen us when we receive these visits.

STUDY ARTICLE 6 “The Head of a Woman Is the Man”

1. When considering a marriage mate, what are some questions a single sister should ask?

For example, knowing that this brother will be a good head of the family is serving Jehovah the most important thing in his life.

And if not, it makes me think that he will make a good head spiritually after we get married.

You can also ask yourself, ask yourself about her as what qualities can I bring to the marriage I am patient and generous.

2. What will we consider in this article?

In this article we will see the answer to three important questions within marriage: What are some problems that wives may have to face? Why do wives choose to accept the authority of their husband? And what can we husbands and wives learn from the examples of Jesus, Abigail and Mary -the mother of Jesus- ?.

WHAT CHALLENGES DO CHRISTIAN WIVES FACE?

3. Why is there no such thing as a perfect marriage?

Well, it is clear that there is no perfect marriage because there is no perfect person and then as first Corinthians 7:28 says, there would be difficulties in life within marriage.

And today marriage as an institution is discredited, there are those who say that marriage is the enemy of love that kills the illusion that kills passion, but in reality it is not like that, it is a perfect gift from Jehovah, only that the contracting parties are imperfect and that is the root of the difficulties.

4. Why might a wife feel that it is demeaning to be in subjection to her husband?

Well, it can be difficult because due to upbringing, a woman has been raised in an environment in which all women have to be equal to men in everything, so it can be difficult for them to have a balanced point of view on the principle of authority.

We can say that at least in our country we have gone from a few years to have a macho culture that now because women want to vindicate themselves and want to demand the same rights that men have in everything, not and that could be confusing in relation to the principle of authority .

If the fact that the principle of authority that Jehovah has established does not see the world in the same way makes it difficult either for the environment or for the upbringing as we have seen, but nevertheless as Marisol mentioned in what focuses on that humble but respectable role given to the Jehovah woman.

5. What unscriptural attitudes do some have about the role of women?

Well, in many places it is thought that they are second category or inferior, we see for example what Sister Ivonne mentions where she lives it is thought that the girls are the ones who have to cook and clean, even the mother and her sister serve the children as if they were the kings of the house and it is a very different idea from what Jehovah thinks.

And another sister from Asia comments that also in her area it is thought that women do not need to be intelligent or have any skills and they are not even allowed to give an opinion to their husband but I really like what she mentions at the end of the paragraph that they Husband who gets carried away by these ideas because they go against the Bible and complicate his wife’s life do not invite Jesus and supposedly displease Jehovah.

And that is really important because Jehovah dislikes it so much that as we see in First Peter 3: 7 even the prayers of these husbands if they allow themselves to be carried away by these attitudes says that they can be hindered.

6. What do wives need to do in order to strengthen their personal relationship with Jehovah?

Well, wives cannot limit ourselves to the responsibility that Jehovah gives to husbands to take care of the family in a spiritual sense to cultivate our relationship with Jehovah, we also have to set aside time in a personal way for each day as we continue to cultivate this relationship by reading daily meditate on the Bible and make our personal prayers to Jehovah.

In an orchestra everyone follows the conductor but each individual musician has to practice and dedicate time to his instrument, similarly wives have to study the scriptures individually to play well the role that Jehovah has given us.

Although the wife loves her husband very much, the most important person for her is still Jehovah, so she has to dedicate enough time to take care of this valuable friendship.

And there is something that a husband cannot do, which is cultivating a friendship with Jehovah for his wife is a personal task that concerns only each one individually.

And we have to take that into account because if we are the wives or daughters of Christian parents, the men often pray for us and direct the family study for us, but as has been commented on, our relationship or our friendship with Jehovah has to be cultivated by ourselves. personally.

Acts 17:27 | He mentions that Jehovah is not far from each one of us, so if he is not far from us personally we do not want to be away from Jehovah personally we have to strengthen that relationship with him.

7. What will make it easier for a wife to fulfill her assignment?

Understand and accept the biblical reasons for accepting the authority of the husband.

Well, it can also be the upbringing or the culture in the place where we live that perhaps it can both focus on the fact that women and men are the same or on the opposite side that some places are also despised.

Why do you decide to accept the authority of your husband?

8. As indicated at Ephesians 5:22-24, why does a Christian wife choose to be in subjection to her husband?

Because because he obeys Jehovah by doing this, he also trusts Jehovah and knows that everything Jehovah asks of us is out of love.

Yes, indeed, it is Jehovah who, as we saw in the preview, established that the wife obey and respect her husband, an attitude that does not fit in a feminist society like the one we live in in many places and yet it reminds us of what Deuteronomy 6 says: 24 Jehovah commanded us to obey all these standards for our eternal good so that the principle of authority in the family is one of those standards for the eternal good of those who follow him.

In first John 5: 3, we see that our obeying Jehovah’s commandments is a sign that we love Jehovah, so if we obey this command of authority it can be a sign of our love for Jehovah.

9. What happens when a Christian sister respects her husband’s authority?

As we see the results in Psalm 119: 165 we see an abundance of peace in his house.

The paragraph shows us what the world says, the world tells women to ignore Jehovah’s standards and that submitting to the authority of her husband is humiliating, but what is the result of happy family lives? Otherwise, they are divided broken families where the children have to be left without one of their parents, but when the wife respects the principle of authority as has been said, the opposite of peace is enjoyed in all the members of the family.

10. What lessons can we learn from the comments made by Carol?

This sister mentions that she knows that her husband will make mistakes but also the way she reacted will show how much she values her friendship with Jehovah and also the peace she will have within her marriage and family.

And we see in this example how important it is as the study has commented that the wife takes care of her friendship with Jehovah, so she will have a spiritual approach to matters and it will be much easier for her and she will enjoy obeying Jehovah.

Yes, as mentioned at the end of the paragraph, there you can see the motivation for doing this, which is to do what Jehovah likes.

11. What helps a sister named Aneese to be forgiving, and what can we learn from her comments?

As she says, she is aware that all human beings make mistakes, so she strives to imitate Jehovah by forgiving generously.

That when we know how to forgive it is easier, it is easier for us to respect the authority of our husband.

What do we learn from the examples of Jesus, Abigail, and Mary?

WHAT CAN WE LEARN FROM EXAMPLES RECORDED IN THE BIBLE?

12. What examples does the Bible contain?

Examples of people who submitted to authority although at the same time they had their own personality and we are going to consider some of them such as Jesús Abigail and María.

13. Why is Jesus in subjection to Jehovah? Explain.

Because according to John 14:31 I love the father I do exactly what the father has commanded me despite having so many abilities Jesus still seeks the guidance of Jehovah and he does it because he loves his father.

It is obvious that it was not due to lack of intelligence because as we read in John 7:45 and 46 after a speech by Jesus they said no man has ever spoken like that, so the best teacher of all time, so it is not at all due to lack of your intelligence.

If it is true that Jesus, having all these characteristics and capacities, one can think that he is self-sufficient but he is not and does not want to be independent from Jehovah, he wants to take it into account, he seeks his guidance and he likes to have that special relationship with him.

And we also understand how the principle of authority does not affect the respect and admiration between two people if it does not encourage it, we see it because of the friendship he has for Jehovah and Jesus, in Proverbs 8:30 it is read that for Jehovah Jesus was his greatest joy and Jesus always felt happy in front of him, so the two fully trusted each other.

And that he submits to the authority of Jehovah does not mean that he is weak as we see in proverbs 8:30, he was the master worker, that is, I collaborate with Jehovah to be able to create the universe and without a doubt that this requires a lot of power.

14. What can husbands learn from (a) the way Jehovah views women? (b) the thoughts recorded in Proverbs 31?

Because Jehovah does not abuse his power or authority, on the contrary, we have seen how he gave his son Jesus Christ authority over heaven and earth, so we husbands can imitate Jehovah’s example by not abusing our authority, far from it. but also to give our wife some authority because she praises her and is a show of respect for her.

Yes, Jehovah does not think at any time that women are inferior as Galatians 3: 26-29 says Jehovah made it clear here that there is no man or woman because all of you are one in union with Christ Jesus, it makes us understand how both women men as they would rule with Jesus.

Jehovah did not create women like water that does not have its own shape but rather takes the shape of the container in which it is poured. Our wife has a well-defined personality has opinions and ideas of her own that are often brighter than ours and just like Jehovah enjoyed working with Jesus who was such a clever and skillful being. We too can enjoy having a competent wife by our side but who submits to the authority of the husband.

14. What can husbands learn from (a) the way Jehovah views women? (b) the thoughts recorded in Proverbs 31?

The proverb says that her husband trusts her with all his heart and it is clear to me with everything she does, it strikes me that she buys and sells land, something that requires a lot of skill, when a Christian husband delegates to his wife without a doubt it is a pleasure to be under your authority.

If the truth is that the words of proverb 31 are precious, this woman is described so skillful, foresighted, hardworking, she also says that she has the law of goodness in her mouth and speaks with wisdom, so it is a pleasure for the family to have such a woman characteristics why many in the environment benefit but especially the husband and children, so when the husband sees this and respects and values it then it generates a very solid union that makes it a pleasure for the woman to collaborate and work under authority of the husband.

If here we see that the principle of authority is not related to being inferior or superior, the principle of authority helps people to make people happy in the role they receive.

15. What can wives learn from Jesus’ example?

These passages that are mentioned here first of Corinthians 15:28 and Philippians 2: 5 and 6 are precious because they mention what is the point of view that Jesus has of himself with respect to his father Jehovah, he has remained in his place and at the end of the millennium because he will return the kingdom to his father and will be Jehovah for all, therefore Jesus submits himself very willingly to the authority of his father, so the wives learn exactly the same, to do what they also They have been asked not to discount them and what they show that they love and respect Jehovah as well.

The wife also has initiative responsibilities but always does so under the authority of her husband.

ILLUSTRATION

As we can see Jesus happy to be able to hand over the kingdom to his father, he does not think that he is taking away his authority or that he is lowering him, he feels happy because he loves him and can submit to his authority.

16. According to 1 Samuel 25:3, 23-28, what challenges did Abigail face? (See cover picture.)

Well, how did you read it? She was married to a man who was selfish and had made a decision that could have caused a great tragedy but we see that she did not look for an easy solution because to let the events happen and get rid of this marriage, she tried to solve She was brave and also humble because she stood in front of 400 armed men and also took the blame for something her husband had done.

And the image also allows us to visualize the very difficult situation that she had to face, there we see her surrounded by an army with their weapons perhaps pointing to them how the image looks without a doubt that it had to manifest great courage.

ILLUSTRATION

If those 400 men were not only armed, they were hungry and this is a dangerous combination of a man with a gun and hungry at the same time, but the humble and sensible words of this woman prevented David who was hurt in his pride from making a terrible mistake.

One detail that strikes me about Jehovah’s point of view on women is what is mentioned at the end of the paragraph says that David realized that Jehovah had used Abigail, so evidently she was a woman who was worth much the Too bad Jehovah used it and David also realized it.

17. What can husbands learn from the account of David and Abigail?

We have seen that David quickly understood that Abigail’s advice came from Jehovah so we husbands learn that sometimes when we have to make important decisions Jehovah can also use our wife to help us make a correct decision in harmony with his will.

18. What can wives learn from Abigail’s example?

Having a husband who is not a witness is not a reason to escape from her marriage, as Abigail did, she saved her life and did not think that letting David kill her husband to escape their marriage because the sisters today are also obedient and with respect they stay with their husbands hoping that the husband changes his attitude.

In paragraph 16 we saw how David immediately realized that Abigail had been sent by Jehovah and surely it was the way in which Abigail spoke to him in a kind respectful way, because we also learn when we have to express our ideas to our head by example or our opinions doing it so surely it will be more successful and that they take us better into account than otherwise.

We also learn that Christian wives are not going to look for excuses for not respecting this principle of authority, they are not going to think that it is good that the husband does not spend much time with me, he is not at home, he does not exercise his role as head well, he is going to always force to respect and obey that principle of authority.

Yes it is true that perhaps there are moments in which here in the case of David and Abigail, David did respond well but the non-believing husband may not respond to her good example, but what she will always have for sure it is that Jehovah will value their role and their loyalty.

19. In what circumstances will a wife not obey her husband?

In the case if he asks you to do something that goes against the law or biblical principles or as for example in the paragraph it says that if the husband asks you to lie, steal or do anything else that Jehovah does not like .

Yes, because the Supreme authority is Jehovah as it says Acts 5:29 we obey God before men, then if something the husband asks goes against some biblical principle we will first obey Jehovah.

20. How do we know that Mary had a close, personal relationship with Jehovah?

For various reasons one of them is that in a conversation with Elizabeth I quote from the scriptures more than 20 times.

And also of all the women in the world Jehovah selected her to take care of his son.

21. What can husbands learn from what the Bible records about Mary?

If you are not intimidated but really see how it can help the whole family.

And we also learn that although our wife is a spiritual wife and is even stronger in a spiritual sense than the husbands but the responsibility of continuing to take care of our family spiritually and nurturing it falls on us on the husbands.

22 What can wives learn from Mary?

In Galatians 6: 5 16 that each one will carry his own load of responsibility, so each one of us is responsible for having a close relationship with Jehovah and for our faith to be strong and that we are going to achieve by having our own study of the Bible by reading and meditating on it daily.

ILLUSTRATION

If, for example, there you see a wife who has set aside time to study and meditate on the Bible and it is perceived that way because her face is seen slowly because it reflects that she was focused on what she is reading and enjoying and I also like the detail in the table with the glass of water which shows that he has prepared that moment so as not to get up and interrupt his study and then also because he has the tablet to search for more information.

22. What can wives learn from Mary?

Those wives are happier and also set a good example for the younger ones in their own family and in the congregation as well.

Titus 2: 3-5 | Well, not only all the good things that are seen before but also says that you will not speak badly of the word of God this is very important.

WHAT DID YOU LEARN ABOUT SUBJECTION FROM THE EXAMPLE SET BY . . .

Jesus.

For despite his capacity for the time he had spent with Jehovah of his experience, he always asked for Jehovah’s help and submitted to his authority showing great respect.

And for wives it is a great example because it teaches us that we do not have to feel that respecting the authority of our husband lowers us and that we do it because we love our husband but above all because we love and respect Jehovah.

Abigail.

I really like this example, especially highlighting two of her qualities as she was sensible and showed courage and that reminds me of so many sisters who are setting an example whose husbands are not witnesses, they are showing their respect for her head always being respectful to her authority but at the same time being very brave at times that perhaps biblical principles are broken, being brave but always keeping this respect.

Mary.

Well, Mary was a very good student of the scriptures and that is why she had a good relationship with Jehovah, we should also imitate him by setting aside time to study the Bible, meditate on it in this way, cultivate a close relationship with Jehovah which will help us also to comply with and respect the principle of leadership.

Take Courage—Jehovah Is Your Helper

“I will never leave you, and I will never abandon you.”—HEB. 13:5.

SONG 55 Fear Them Not!

PREVIEW*

1. What will comfort us when we feel alone or overwhelmed by our problems? (Psalm 118:5-7)

Well, what will really console us is the promise that Jehovah makes us in his word where he tells us I will never leave you and I will never abandon you, and in the psalm it says that whatever our circumstance he will take us to a safe place.

And if we feel that way, we can also think that other prophets of the past also felt like that as Elijah in the first of kings 19:14 said and I am the only one left who felt very lonely and thought that they were going to take his life, but Jehovah encouraged him and that’s what he does to us too.

And surely for that same reason around the year 61 Paul also quoted these words from the Psalm to write a letter and thus encourage others to also continue to trust in Jehovah.

2. What will we consider in this article, and why?

We will analyze 3 different ways in which Jehovah helped the apostle Paul, through his son Jesus and his angels, people of certain authority and brothers in faith, with this review of the apostle’s experiences we can strengthen our confidence in Jehovah’s promises .

And reviewing in detail how Jehovah helped Paul with a real example will strengthen our faith, because now we may be going through very similar situations and that will be that our faith in Jehovah in his promise becomes stronger.

HELP FROM JESUS AND THE ANGELS

3. What may Paul have wondered, and why?

Paul faced very difficult situations as mentioned in the paragraph a crowd dragged him out of the temple and tried to kill him and the next day his enemies were about to tear him to pieces, so surely he wondered how much longer he could endure that situation.

4. How did Jehovah help Paul by means of Jesus?

Yes, as we see quoted in the paragraph in Acts 23:11, Jesus himself appeared next to Paul and after having suffered such hostile treatment that he just received in Jerusalem, Jesus told him that he would have to continue giving testimony in Rome, basically He was confirming that he was not alone that he had the approval of Jehovah and that he would arrive in Rome safely and it was also Jesus himself who appeared at his side, so he knew that both Jehovah and Jesus had a very deep love for him.

Perhaps here we are faced with the perfect outline when it comes to encouraging anyone, we can think of the good feelings that Pablo would eventually display, the fact of reminding him of his previous good activity and letting a glimpse of the activity that he had for the future. a positive effect on Pablo.

This paragraph catches my attention when it says that they were the right words, because the context of facts 23 says that the next day 40 Jews formed a conspiracy and committed themselves with the curse of not drinking and eating until they killed Paul, so these terrorists They had been directly involved, so if Paul found out about this evidently the words of Jesus gave him great encouragement to be courageous and trust in Jehovah.

I am also very struck by the sensitivity of Jesus when talking to him, because he could have said how you have borne witness to me because you will have to give testimony in Rome, but Jesus said you have given a complete testimony and how nice it was to congratulate him on him. good job he was doing and this encouraged Pablo a lot.

5. How did Jehovah help Paul by means of an angel? (See cover picture.)

He reaffirmed the promise that he had received earlier through Jesus that he would have to reach Rome, it is true that the situation was quite distressing because as the biblical story says, he had not seen the sun and stars being beaten for many days, even for a long time without Eating the situation was not easy at all, but having received this confirmation had been a great consolation for Pablo.

And from there a lesson is also derived that sometimes we humans need to be repeated words of encouragement or also to make sure, and Jehovah understood it that is why he sent an angel again to repeat the same thing that he had already said before.

ILLUSTRATION

Yes, for example we can see the contrast between the reaction of Paul and the others who were on the boat, it is true that Paul would be surprised to see this Angel but he was calm since Jesus and this Angel promised him that he would arrive safely at his destination .

And we also perceive a bit of chaos in the image, the storm produces that even some thought they were going to die, but you found that darkness we see the illumination that Pablo has on his face receiving the encouragement and praise of this Angel, who later He was also able to transmit to those who traveled with him on the boat and also benefited from that encouragement, that teaches us that receiving encouragement helps us to also give encouragement.

6. What promise of Jesus can strengthen us, and why?

It is true that we need those strength to move forward and the paragraph uses an expression that impresses, it says even the darkest days of our lives, even in those days we have the strength that it gives us and as Matthew 28 mentioned every day, now we also understand the words of Matthew 11 from 28 to 30 when he says that the yoke of Jesus is easy to carry is a yoke that weighs little and that because it encourages us on all the days that we lack strength.

It is also nice to see that Jehovah did not send anyone to be with us in these last days he has sent his son and Jesus knows very well what we are going through because he lived many of our situations when he was on Earth, that is beautiful see how Jehovah cares so tenderly for our feelings.

And we also see that Jesus fulfills his promise we saw it in the case of the apostle Paul fulfilled his promise he came to Rome and came to preach there, in our case also here he says that he would be with us every day and he is fulfilling with his promise and we on many occasions experience that help from Jesus so we have the best leader.

7. According to Revelation 14:6, how does Jehovah help us today?

Well, with a very great help, which are the Angels, they in preaching are supporting us and guiding us and they have nothing to stop them or a pandemic, so we are like a team with them and they help us a lot.

And it is good to think about this point now that we are seeing what is the movement of the organization, we do more than receive a scale of information about how to practice or be more useful when it comes to touching the heart, it is no longer so much to give news but to touch the heart, even the new system of conducting our Bible study presented this month in the monthly program tells us about it, what our part would be, then, to always be updated with this way of working.

Hebrews 1: 7, 14 | If these two verses relate the Angels to Jehovah’s servants and these servants are guided by his holy spirit, verse 14 says that they are prepared to do a public service and what better public service than the preaching of the good news, so the angels guided by this holy spirit support us and also guide us and collaborate with us in this wonderful work.

ILLUSTRATION

Yes, as the image shows, we know of many experiences of brothers who have preached to many people who were praying to them at that time, so the truth is that it is very encouraging to know that we preach but that the Angels help us find those people of good heart.

HELP FROM INDIVIDUALS IN AUTHORITY

8. How did Jehovah help Paul by means of a military commander?

Well, when he arrived in Rome they had been planning an ambush, so Jehovah used Claudius Lysias to escort Paul to this caesarean section and once he got there he used the governor Felix who had him held and guarded in Herod’s Palace.

If it is very curious about the case of Claudio Lisias because Paul is still a slave even though he had Roman citizenship, but this commander made sure that nothing happened to him that he was comfortable and assembled an army of 470 people to escort him and arrive safe, then surely Paul felt the hand of Jehovah again very close protecting and caring for him.

9. How did Governor Festus help Paul?

Festus replaces Felix in the position of government and it is now that the Jews probably think that they can take advantage of this circumstance to continue with their plans to take him to Jerusalem and be tried there, but Festus refuses probably because he understands that perhaps they want to kill him .

And it is very striking what the biblical account says because they begged Festus to do the favor of bringing Paul to Jerusalem but he used sagacity and understood that it was not a positive intention with which they loved Paul, therefore of course we see the Jehovah’s hand behind how he was using, otherwise he would not have realized he had said good very well there is a Jew is in Jerusalem with his culture with his traditions would think it was better, however he acted in this way that was somewhat surprising.

10. How did Governor Festus respond to Paul’s appeal to be judged by Caesar?

Well, after consulting his advisers, he finally told him that you have appealed to Caesar and you will go to Cesar, so in this way he protected him too.

And it is true that, for example, in Caesarean section Paul already felt a certain degree of protection because it was a city mostly of gentiles with few Jews, but now with this decision to send him to Rome as the paragraph says, he already took him out of the reach of his enemies immediately.

And there is an interesting detail at the beginning where the paragraph that says that Festus wanted to be good with the Jews, so the most logical thing is that he did not even ask Paul and he will send him to Jerusalem, but the question that he asked him where do you want to be judged there surely Paul must have seen Jehovah’s hand and will notice that Jehovah was protecting him.

11. Paul may have reflected on what reassuring words given by Isaiah?

He may have meditated on the encouraging words of Isaiah 8:10 that they may prepare a plan but it will be frustrated or that they say some things but it will not work out and the reason why God is with us and that was the case with Paul .

It is interesting because the confidence the faith that Paul showed is also impressive because it is true that he knew that Jehovah would help him but he showed such confidence and there we have the proof that he embarked on long journeys even knowing what could happen to him that he could have had a penalty of death he continued defending his ideas defending Jehovah and at least one example is interesting for us as we must also strengthen our faith and our confidence that Jehovah will help us.

No doubt that meditating on a verse like this had to encourage him a lot, he probably remembered that a few years after Isaiah wrote these verses that we read an angel, only one angel of Jehovah in the reign of Hezekiah killed 185,000 soldiers, so he will probably think that it gives Even the test or obstacle, however great it was, was nothing compared to the power of Jehovah and the power of one of his angels.

12 (a). How did Julius treat Paul?

As we read in Acts 27: 3 it says that Julius treated Paul with kindness and allowed him to visit his friends and also the later account goes on to say that even as he saved his life, so Jehovah used a person who had some authority how Julio was a good person to help the apostle Paul.

12 (b). What may Paul have discerned as a result?

Well, surely he would see Jehovah’s hand because it was not normal for this officer to have such a good heart and save his life, then surely he would be seeing how Jehovah was handling matters.

Of course, in the previous occasions that we have studied, it is very easy to see the hand of Jehovah, an angel Jesus himself that was clear, but now behind the actions of this official because he nevertheless had the spiritual vision of seeing who was behind Jehovah. , so how good it is that we also think about all the good things that happen to us in all the things that help us to endure well to really think and meditate that who is behind each one of them is Jehovah.

13. How may Jehovah use people in authority?

We have the text of Proverbs 21: 1 that talks about the heart of a king being like streams of water in the hand of Jehovah and directing him where he wants, so just as human beings can by means of a channel divert the water of a river to the other side because, as has also been commented, Jehovah can use his spirit to divert human thoughts.

Ezra | And there the example of King Artaxerxes is mentioned as he granted permission to Ezra to travel to Jerusalem, but not only that but he provides everything necessary for the temple and also expressly told him that he had to teach the law and apply it to the people, so in this case Jehovah used Artaxerxes to this King to benefit Jehovah’s people.

ILLUSTRATION

We have two images that contrast exactly what Jehovah can produce in the hearts of those rulers, the first we see how Julio protects the apostle Paul in the midst of this disorder that perhaps could have caused the death of Paul, but Julio stands in front of him and we even perceive the surprise in Paul as saying well this man is here advocating for me for my protection and on the other hand because we may see a situation that may arise, our brothers who are imprisoned and who also see the mighty hand of Jehovah since some civilian deer of the jail protects them from other prisoners, so behind this we see how Jehovah can use men to care and show affection to his servants.

14. In line with Acts 12:5, concerning whom can we pray?

Well, through our brothers who are imprisoned, we know from many through the website what they are and what they are facing and another added detail is what first Timothy 2: 1 and 2 mentions that they also make a request to intercede for kings and for all who occupy high positions for their benefit because we know that many times there are judicial decisions, there are situations in which they face that with our prayers we can help them to have a much more favorable situation.

This is exactly what Nehemiah did when he prayed to Jehovah for the king to have compassion on him and to do well, so we too can follow that pattern and as has already been said then also pray for those who guard our brothers so that they treat yourself well and may also see the hand of Jehovah in your case.

Yes, also in the sentence that Nehemiah 1:11 is mentioned, we come to understand how important it is to be concrete and precise also in our prayers, because nehemiah, for example, uses expressions such as make me do well today or for example, Please let the king have compassion on me, these are expressions that clearly show Nehemiah’s concern and how he asks Jehovah for something specific, so it shows us that our prayers can also be direct to Jehovah.

Hebrews 13: 3 | And the truth is that now we can put ourselves in their place very easily because our page under the theme Jehovah’s Witnesses imprisoned for their belief comes with the name of most of the brothers who are suffering in prison, so we could even pray for them by name.

HELP FROM FELLOW BELIEVERS

15-16. How did Jehovah help Paul by means of Aristarchus and Luke?

It’s nice to see how they did that out of love for Paul, how they also wanted it out of love for Jehovah because they didn’t know if they were going to be saved and went in later, so this shows the kind of feeling they had towards him.

In the final part of the paragraph we read that Paul prayed to Jehovah from the heart to thank him, from this we can also learn a lesson and it is also to pray to Jehovah to help us make practical tools towards our brothers who are having a hard time that We can be used to give them comfort and we know that today there are many brothers in this situation.

17. How did Jehovah help Paul by means of his fellow believers?

Well, one of the occasions was when they arrived at the port of Sidon and there Julio allowed him to visit his friends and have them take care of him, so it must have been an injection of encouragement for him.

Yes, Sidon was the beginning of that trip, but something similar happened almost at the end in Puteoli, they found some brothers and they also begged him to stay with them for seven days and surely there he also received a lot of encouragement.

18. What prompted Paul to thank God and take courage?

As the paragraph says that many brothers from Rome were waiting along the road to greet him, some had even traveled 50 kilometers away, some chronicles say that they were places where you could not even eat, but that did not matter because the important thing was to wait to Paul to encourage him and as Acts 28:15 says it was what Paul experienced.

Also, as the Bible says that Paul thanked him, it says that it was not after having spoken with them or shared some food or not speaking, it says when he saw them, how beautiful Paul saw them and already felt so much encouragement as to now thank Jehovah for that beautiful privilege of seeing his brothers in that difficult moment for him.

ILLUSTRATION

If we also pursue in Pablo’s face the surprise on the one hand when he meets the brothers who were on the road waiting for him and also the illusion that made him receive this encouragement and this encouragement when facing what was coming to him being a prisoner in Rome, and I remind us a little of the images that we have seen in a video when some of our brothers come out of a trial and the brothers are at the door to applaud them and to give them encouragement and praise or when one of our young brothers They were going to enter prison because the brothers were there at the prison door to strengthen them, so something similar had to be experienced by the apostle Paul.

19. As stated at 1 Peter 4:10, how may Jehovah use us as a means to convey his help to those in need?

Well, it is a bit overwhelming to have or meditate on the privilege that Jehovah gives us to be good stewards of his undeserved kindness, so perhaps Jehovah, because he uses us, has given us a small gift so that now we can use it at the time of encourage strengthen show affection and love to our brothers, so if we perceive that our personality has these characteristics, let us use it to help others.

And very beautifully, I thought that each of us can use the gift that Jehovah has given us to help other brothers to trust again in the promise that I will never leave you, I will never abandon you and we may believe that we do not have any gift, but as we have read each one has one of a way of another sure we can help.

ILLUSTRATION

That is what we can see in the photograph, the brothers who are going to visit the sister who is accompanying perhaps a relative who is sick because they have simply spent some time thinking that they can help this sister, how can I strengthen her, perhaps simply They have thought about the hospital, perhaps he does not eat very well, we are going to prepare some good pieces of fruit for him to eat so that he can at least continue to have strength, sometimes it is simply necessary to think a little about how we can give practical help, perhaps those pieces of fruits are just what the sister is needing.

20. Why can we say with confidence: “Jehovah is my helper”?

Yes, because we have no doubts, it does not matter because of the difficult situations that we may be going through or through which we may have to experience in the future, we know that Jehovah promises us I am your helper and as we have seen in today’s article Jehovah wants to help us, he wants to help us and he does it. of many ways.

HOW WOULD YOU ANSWER?

What help do we receive from Jesus and the angels?

Matthew 28:20 Jesus promised that he would be with us every day is the system conclusions, so this implies as we saw in paragraph 6 that it is in those days those times that are difficult for us, those days or the darkest days of our life Jesus will be there helping us, and in the case of the angels Jehovah sends them directly to support us to lead the preaching, and we have an infinity of examples of people who at some point were praying and the brothers have been directed to those people to preach to him and of course there was the help of the angels.

What can we mention in prayer concerning those “in positions of authority”?

For example, the decisions they have to make that positively affect our spiritual activities or also be able to pray for the brothers who are imprisoned who are having a bad time, even because Jehovah influences the minds of the guards who guard our brothers. and treat them with human kindness.

How can we help fellow believers who are in need?

We can pray to Jehovah to give us the strength to give him kind words or do something for him and that it is just that encouragement that we need.

SONG 38 He Will Make You Strong

This article considers three ways in which Jehovah helped the apostle Paul to deal with difficult challenges. Reviewing how Jehovah proved to be a Helper in the past will strengthen our confidence that Jehovah will help us today as we pass through the storms of life.

Aristarchus and Luke had previously been Paul’s traveling companions. These trusted men also remained with Paul during his imprisonment in Rome.—Acts 16:10-12; 20:4; Col. 4:10, 14.
