What struggle did Kitty Kelly have?

When she was little Kitty studied the Bible but she did not want to be different from others, so she became ashamed of her beliefs, she explains that she had an internal struggle because she knew it was the right thing to do but she lacked the courage to do it. And the fact is, she didn’t want to be different from other girls so it was an inner struggle.

What helped her to develop courage?

She read the experiences of other siblings, pondered what she learned, and also used the insight book to deepen her personal study.

Well, without a doubt, it was the personal study. She says that when she was 12 years old, she began to read a magazine on her own and she enjoyed reading and realized that there were very interesting publications, so the personal study of the Bible strengthened her.

If we see that thanks to this she could see Jehovah as someone real and she also prayed to him before defending her beliefs and that gave her a lot of value.

And something practical also at the beginning of each year she identified to her schoolmates that she was a Jehovah’s Witness.

What blessings resulted from having courage?

Well now, by making yourself known as a Jehovah’s Witness, you can help your classmates when they have a problem trying to find a publication principle that helps them. You have also been able to do auxiliary pioneering in upper secondary education and when finishing regular pioneering.

And she has also had the opportunity to preach to her classmates, she mentions that on one occasion she had to expose a topic and she took that opportunity to preach and if we think about it she had the opportunity to reach people who normally would not reach because they would not be in his house then Jehovah used it in that way.

If she felt calm by doing what Jehovah asked her to preach, her conscience was clear.
