Jehovah Will Help You Be Bold
If you are in school, do you ever feel afraid to identify yourself as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses and to give a witness? If so, how can you ‘muster up boldness’ to speak up? (1Th 2:2) What reasons do you have to do so? After watching the video Jehovah Will Help You Be Bold, answer the following questions:
What Bible example helped Sophia to muster up boldness?
*** lfb lesson 51 p. 124 pars. 1-3 The Warrior and the Little Girl ***
In the land of Syria, there was a little Israelite girl who was far away from her home. She had been taken from her family by the Syrian army, and now she was a servant to the wife of an army chief called Naaman. The little girl worshipped Jehovah, even though the people around her did not.
Naaman had a horrible skin disease, and he was in pain all the time. The little girl really wanted to help him. She told Naaman’s wife: ‘I know someone who can make your husband better. In Israel, there is a prophet of Jehovah named Elisha. He can cure your husband.’
Naaman’s wife told Naaman what the little girl had said. He was willing to try anything, so he went to Elisha’s house in Israel.
How did Sophia benefit from practice sessions?

She did not know what would happen, after talking. But he knew that whatever had happened, Jehovah would be by his side. And Jehovah will also be at your side Sofia.
I will never be so brave.
Of course you’ll be Sofia, you just need some practice, and then you’ll be brave too. Do you remember what we’re doing tonight?
Adoration in the family?
Quite right! Perhaps, tonight we could pretend that the kitchen is your class. I can do Lisa, Dad and Lele, they can do the other companions. You, you can practice, to be brave with us. Then tomorrow, you’ll be ready to talk to Lisa.
I thought, I could not be brave. But I learned, about the Jewish girl. She was just like me, and Jehovah helped her, to have courage.
Why should you witness to your schoolmates?
*** w08 6/1 p. 24 She Wanted to Help ***
HAVE you ever known someone who was very sick?— Did you wish you could do something to help him?— What if he was from a different country or of a different religion? Would you still want to help him get well?— A young girl who lived in the land of Israel nearly 3,000 years ago did. Let’s talk about what happened then.
Would you like to help someone to learn about Jehovah and about what he can do, as that little girl did?— When Jesus was on earth, a man who had leprosy believed in him and said: ‘If you really want to help me, you can.’ Do you know what Jesus replied?— “I want to.” And Jesus healed him, just as Jehovah had healed Naaman.—Matthew 8:2, 3.
Do you know about the new world that Jehovah will create in which all people will be healthy and can live forever?— (2 Peter 3:13; Revelation 21:3, 4) Surely, then, you will want to tell others about these wonderful things!
If you are no longer in school, what lessons did this video teach you?
*** my story 69 A Girl Helps a Mighty Man ***
What can we learn from all of this? First, that we should be like the little girl and talk about Jehovah.
*** lr chap. 41 p. 216 Children Who Make God Happy ***
Would you like to help someone to learn about Jehovah and about what he can do, as that young girl did?— Who is there that you could help?— Of course, at first they might not think that they need help. But you could talk to them about the good things that Jehovah does. And they might listen. You can be sure that this will make God happy.
