MEXICO CITY—On December 4, 2017, a mob in Tuxpan de Bolaños, a small town located in the mountains of Jalisco, Mexico, attacked 12 of our brothers of the indigenous Huichol community and another 36 people who associate with them, banishing them from their homes. The assailants were angered that the Witnesses would not participate in traditional Huichol religious rites. As victims of religious persecution, our brothers have appealed to the legal authorities for relief………
